Our very own home state provides the setting for Chef Randy’s culinary treats for the month of August. Starters will feature Great Northern Bean Soup, Crispy Frog Legs, Drummond Island Pasties, Baby Spinach Salad and more. Entrees will include Pistachio Encrusted North Walleye, Pan Seared Rainbow Trout, Venison Tenderloin Au Poivre. EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING
Ladies this is the perfect opportunity to improve your golf game with the weekly, hour-long group lessons taught by our club’s pros from 4:30-5:30pm. This evening’s lesson will focus on “rules”. The cost is only $20 for the lesson, and you can bring women guests, too. Then go out and play as many holes of golf as you wish, and your guest(s) pay only a $10 green fee plus $13 cart fee. Follow it up with Martini Wednesdays and dining on the patios, while enjoying our entertainer, Bob. Make this a regular weekly event! |

Drawing for the CADILLAC CTS will be held on Friday, August 8th.
A maximum of only 2500 tickets will be sold at $100 each. ALL proceeds go to The Alex Knapp Fund. Drawing will be held on August 8, 2008, at 8pm. Need not be present to win. Please see the Great Oaks Pro Shop or Receptionist for tickets.
Alex Knapp Update: We received a video clip of Alex walking on his new legs—an amazing miracle of science and Alex’s desire to return to an active life. The support he has received from our members and others has helped instill a determination that can be felt by watching Alex take his first steps.
